Claiming back the cost of The Probate Wizard
The cost of The Probate Wizard is a legitimate administrative expense, also known as a "testamentary expense". That is, a cost incurred in the administration of an estate.
That means you can claim the full cost of The Probate Wizard back from the estate, if you wish to do so.
If you are not the sole executor or sole administrator, you must seek the approval of the executors or administrators.
The cost of the Wizard will be deducted from the "residuary estate" (all that is left over after debts, expenses and specific gifts in the will have been paid).
Other administrative expenses may include the grant of probate application costs, inheritance tax and legal advice.
