Grant of letters of administration with will annexed
A document proving that personal representatives have the authority to deal with an estate. Required when there is a will but either (a) no executors are appointed or (b) executors are appointed have chosen not to (or are unable to) act
If there is no will, the grant required is a "grant of letters of administration".
